What we do
Establishing R&D centers & creating jobs for local residents
With KOICA's support, a cyber security R&D center was established, operating masterplan was organized, major equipment was provided, and the experts were dispatch to support operation, training and technological transfers. This was also joined by the master's degree program of the Indonesian government to lay the foundation for the country's cyber security education. Furthermore, KOICA's public-private cooperation projects and NGO support projects were joined to suggest ways to cooperate with the local communities, such as hosting free computer classes for impoverished teenagers and creating jobs for local residents. The Indonesian government recognized the efforts and achievements and awarded the first "Best achievement award in development cooperation and accomplishment" to this project.
