Contributed to the implementation of MDGs , taking a step forward as an international development cooperation agency Agenda of KOICA
KOICA is a leading grant agency of Korea, a country that was a receiver in the past but today a donor. It has actively participated in the global effort to achieve Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and contributed to increasing Korea's presence in the international community. With an expansion of ODA in the 2000s, the budget increased significantly while project areas, partners, and projects have become more diversified. As Korea became a member of OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) in 2009, KOICA laid a foundation to be a leading grant agency.
